Keynote by Mah Rana (Co-director, Lived Experience Network (LENs)
8 July, 2021 | 1:00 PM | Think Space
The LENS is a network of people with lived experience of the impact of creativity and culture on their own health and wellbeing. The LENs champions access to creative and cultural opportunities for all; and works to ensure that the voices of those with lived experience remain at the heart of the arts, health, and wellbeing movement. We work closely with the Culture, Health & Wellbeing Alliance (CHWA) and the NCCH (National Centre for Creative Health) to support culture, health and wellbeing across England to build local and national bridges with policy makers, commissioners and stakeholders.
As an external adviser with lived experience, and an artist-researcher Mah is a co-investigator on the Community COVID research project at UCL. She is also a psychology PhD candidate at Birkbeck College, teaches at the Royal College of Art, and is a fellow of the Royal Society of Arts.
