IN CONCLUSION: NO END POINT

When we started putting together the DISRUPT Toolkit, we entered the process with far more questions than answers. One of the big ones was: what will people do after reading this? It’s a huge question and the truth is, we’re not really sure. We’re not really sure because, well, no one had read it. Until now.

So that question, that huge question, sits with you now: what happens next? Where do you go from here?

We can’t answer that for you, but we can tell you what our hopes are:

We hope that you use this toolkit to think about how to shake things up.

We hope you use it to be brave and bold enough to challenge structures that already exist and firm enough to stand your ground when things get tough.

We hope you can use this toolkit to think about how you share power, and meet the communities you serve as equals.

We hope you know that you’ll get things wrong (more than once), but that failure makes room for growth.

Start questioning and challenging. Think about your power, think about changing how you do things. Ask communities what they want; how they’d like to be involved. Give them influence; give them power.

We hope that you know that things can change if we all accept there is no end point, only evolution.

No experts, only learners.

We can’t wait to see what you make next.
